Pan flute artifacts have been found throughout eastern
North America, at all the archaeological sites named on this map.

This pan flute dates to the early Middle Woodland period (300 B.C.E. - 400 C.E.), and
was discovered at the excavation of the Mallon Mound site in southern Michigan, USA.
