I would like to begin this page by first saying there are a lot of people who are doing outstanding work for the pan flute, as performers, builders, educators, and event organizers. You know who you are, folks. Keep up the good work! However, there are others that prefer to turn back the clock on the pan flute, to seize it into their own hands and, by employing misdirection, misinformation, envy, and prejudice, seek to deny the worth of all panflutists who do not meet with their specific approval.
